It's Raining, It's Pouring!

What an adventure this shoot turned out to be! Alicia's bridals were scheduled last Saturday, which was one of the cloudiest/rainiest days we've had in this crazy month of June. Since she's tough as nails, we decided to go ahead with the shoot! We were okay at first, but it started POURING at one point! All of us were soaked, my naturally curly hair went crazy, and poor Alicia's dress got pretty dirty as we ran through mud on our way to find cover! In the midst of it all, we got some incredible shots. On top of Alicia being gorgeous and so great in front of the camera, her dress was stunning, her jewelry (that belongs to her late grandmother) was beautiful, and the orchid her in hair gave the perfect "pop" to the whole package. Her awesome attitude was what impressed me the most. She even splashed in some puddles at the end of it all! She makes such a beautiful bride- inside and out!

Precision Dance Camp '09

I had the privilege of taking pictures at this year's Precision Dance Camp at UVU. The teachers are so talented and did a great job at giving the girls critique and encouragement. Talk about entertainment as I watched and captured amazing dancers from 5 high schools (Alta, American Fork, Copper Hills, Bingham & Brighton) put their impressive skills into play! I foresee some tough competition among this year's drill teams!

SHOWERED with Love

Kimberly and Paco are such an adorable couple! With this crazy weather we've been having lately, we knew there was a good chance it would rain during our shoot. Fortunately, we made a good call to move it to an earlier time than originally scheduled and beat the rain... BARELY. It started raining near the end of our shoot, urging us to RUN back to the car after snapping a few last minute shots! As soon as we go in the car, SHEETS of water came pouring down! It was crazy! But, even the ominous weather we had to deal with towards the end didn't stop Kimberly and Paco from glowing in front of the camera. Their love for each other is so apparent and I can't wait for their big day!
